Hi, Just received my physical card and activated it.
It says to activate contactless I need to do a chip and pin transaction.
Would a withdrawal from an ATM count as that as I am not going to any shops at the moment and won’t be even when they reopen next week?

I think it needs to be a pos terminal in a shop if I remember correctly.
When I got my card I changed pin in app and had to go to a cash machine and use the new pin to update the chip. I then had to use it in a shop to activate contactless.
@jojingles - It must be a sales transaction with your PIN, in a shop for example. A withdrawal or balance enquiry from a cash machine does not activate contactless payments on the card.
