Hi everyone, I’d like to follow up on past threads on this topic with the news that the day has finally arrived - Booster accounts are closing today.
Sadly, that means accounts will be closed and Booster users will no longer be able to use the Booster app or card to spend money, deposit or withdraw from their accounts, or pay their bills.
It’s a sad day for the team at Tymit, but we’d like to thank every Booster customer for being part of the journey, especially those who were so generous with their feedback and ideas here on the community forum.
Naturally, many will have questions about what happens next, and we are reaching out by email with all the relevant details. However, two important issues that we’d like to flag now include:
Deposit refunds
Deposits will be refunded automatically to the bank account used for the original deposit. Booster users should allow up to 28 days for this to be processed.
Effects on credit scores
We will report Booster accounts as settled, which means you’ve closed your account with no outstanding bills - so the closure shouldn’t negatively affect your credit score.

Please keep an eye on your inboxes for more details. And our thanks again to all Booster customers for their support - we wish you the best in improving your credit scores in the future.
